More FAQs- Does acrylic have an odour during application?
- Can I strip floors with urethane finish?
- How long will acrylic floors last?
Acrylic does have an odour during application, but it is generally mild and usually dissipates within a short period of time.
Urethane is strippable, if necessary. However, when the product reaches the end of its life cycle, it can be abraded and recoated without stripping. ServiceMaster Clean of Ottawa has products and procedures designed specifically for this purpose.
Wear of any finish depends greatly on the foot traffic in your facility, how the floor is used and the cleaning practices that are employed. Typically, the average lifespan of acrylic finish is about one year.
